Our Birthdays!

Seriously, I haven't blogged in so long!

We celebrated our birthdays in September.
My brother and his brother-in-laws (twins) also have their birthdays that same week,
so we decided to have a family dinner at Tucano's (free dinner the month of your birthday!).
We had our little brother Kevin, and our cousins Chad and Lauren join us.
It was a fun night out. And considering Rand was able to consume
large amounts of meat...it was a very happy birthday for him!

(L - R: Me, Lauren, Laurens friend Courtney, Brian, Eric (one of the twins), Tobin, Emily, Kevin, Chad, Rand)

The birthday kids!
We also went out to dinner with Rand's parents at one of our favorite restaurants,
The Asian Star.
If you are ever in the Sandy area, check it out!
I'm not a big party person...but I do love to just chill and hang out with friends.
I thought that my 30th birthday was a good enough reason to get everyone together.
So we had a combined birthday 'get together' for Rand and I.

Dan, Kim and Jaxon
Another one of my favorite roommates, Cat (it was she, Mollie and I)
Table Tennis may have taken most of the attention from the guys!
and Rock Band took the attention of everyone else!
Here are my cousins and brother rockin' the game.
I'm loving Ashley's dance hands there!
All the cousins!
Kevin, Chad, Lauren, me, Rand, David and his wife Ashley
Wasn't the most happening party ever...but thanks to all who came!
I loved being able to see everyone...especially those that I don't get to see too often!

Happy Birthday to Us!
I also put together a list, "30 things you didn't know about me" for my 30th birthday.
I never did collect all the pictures and such I wanted for it. So perhaps I'll post it in March for my 30 1/2 birthday! :o)

More Family Visits

Do after our trip to see my family in Cali, we decided to head up to see
Rand's brother and his family as well.

Our nephew Nash is of course the highlight, I mean...look at this kid!

Jason, Rand and I headed to a baseball game with some killer third base side seats.
We chose to go to the game and record the BYU vs. Oklahoma football game.
In support of BYU I wore my BYU shirt to the baseball game.
We made it through 3/4 of the game when a guy behind us blurts out,
"Hey, did you know BYU just beat Oklahoma?!"
I thought Rand and Jason were going to kill me. ha ha!

After the ball game we still went home and watched the game. I figured they owed me! Had they not known the outcome ahead of time, they would have probably had
numerous heart attacks throughout that game!

We were also able to go visit one of my favorite roommates from BYU.
Mollie and I lived together for about 3 months and worked together for about 7 months.
We also took a trip out to a place called 'Garden of the Gods'. It was a beautiful!

Nash just enjoyed being carried and pushed in his stroller everywhere.
This seemed to be the popular picture spot since the
rock looks like it could topple down on you at any time.

Afterwards they thought it would be funny to take us to this famous drinking spring in a nearby little town. We were weary of it...and for good reason!
The water was NASTY!
But I guess now we can say we've tried it. ugh!

It was a fun trip!
Thanks for having us to your house...we definitely need to do it again!

One last parting shot of Nash!
